“A Festival of Indian Classical Music in Shanghai”
Spread across two days, the first day will focus on instrumental music and will highlight the importance of instruments in Indian classical music. The second day will be dedicated to vocals and a fusion session with local Jazz artists from Shanghai.

Time: 7Pm till 9PM
- The first half of the program will feature rendition of each instrument – Sitar, Flute and Tabla separately. Each of the three instruments being unique, this would allow the audience to experience the tonality of each instrument.
- The second half of the program will feature “Jugalbandi” – duet of two solo musicians. In jugalbandi, both musicians act as lead players, and a playful competition exists between the two performers.

- The second half of the program will have a fusion session where visiting artists will perform with local Jazz artists from Shanghai. Local artists from Cotton club and JZ to participate in the program.
